Luke 1:26-27

  1. Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,


  2. to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Miriam ("Mary").


Luke 2:4

  1. Joseph also went up from the Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth...
Luke 2:39

  1. So when they had done everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to the Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.
